Designed for global installations, it features a variety of industrial features including hazardous location certification, IGMP Snooping, OFDM anti-noise interference, relay mode for mesh topology/self-healing networks, OPC server diagnostics, extended temperature range, high vibration/shock resistance, and rail mounting.
Provides encryption strength security features including WPA2-802.11i with 128-bit AES encryption and CCM integrity checking.
Flexible and reliable, a single radio acts as an access point, repeater/bridge, and client.
With Power over Ethernet (PoE) technology, radios can be placed near antennas, reducing antenna cable costs and improving wireless network performance.
Supports serial device connectivity and can encapsulate/decapsulate serial data into TCP or UDP packets.
Provides easy configuration and monitoring, including the IH Browser software tool, to centrally configure and remotely manage the Industrial Hotspot network
In addition, RLX-IHW-A adds SNTP support to synchronize system time to an external SNTP time server, and Syslog support to send critical event messages to an external Syslog server. It has also improved the Settings for initial mandatory password changes, disabling the "Apply" button by default until a new password is entered and the main web page is displayed
